The Schauer JAC0348MAN 48 volt golf cart maintainer is ideal for maintaining 48 volt battery packs (sealed lead acid-AGM, wet, or Gel), from 10 ah to about 300 ah. This is a durable, aluminum cased unit, with auto sensing universal input, 100 to 240 VAC. This unit will pass up to 2.5 amps of current, to maintain the long term float voltage of a 48 volt battery pack. They are excellent for use on deep cycle batteries. Reverse polarity and short circuit protection. If your large golf cart charger shuts off after a charge cycle without maintaining (float mode), this is the perfect companion, for periods of cart inactivity. Batteries are expensive. These are the only items on this site that are not made in the US, but are excellent quality from Schauer, with a 2 year warranty.
